Hyderabad Dec 6: IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has set one year deadline to officials to provide internet services in villages as part of Mission Bhagiratha. He instructed the officials concerned to speed up works to provide internet services to every household in the rural pockets by December 2018. During a review meeting at Begumpet camp office KTR discussed on the works and funding for IT and Industries.
The officials should work with an aim to provide internet to all houses at the earliest as Mission Bhagiratha works are nearing completion. Bharat Net and the state government will provide funds for the project and take help from the banks. Vijaya Bank Deputy General Manager Satyanarayana Raju gave Rs 561 cr documents to the minister for internet services.
